well...its kinda a long story but heres the (semi )
short form:
was watchin season 5's a fool for love, where spike tells buffy about how he killed the other slayers ( with many flashbacks)...and he tells her that its not about how many skills the vamp has...its about the fact that every slayer has a death wish at some time or another and a good vampire will seize the moment...and shes dead. well after all the flashbacks and stuff he says "here enduth the lesson"
well i season sevens "showtime" buffy manages to kill that umbervamp in front of the scoobies and potentials(whos species i can spell...turakahan??) after all the underlying tention about whether buffy is up to facing the big bad and if she really wants to live (from season 6) and all that stuff...well after she kills it she says "here enduth the lesson" The exact same thing! so i think this was kind of her saying "i'm ready to kick some butt" and proving that she doesnt have a death wish at all anymore...
she then goes to save spike from the first cave...proving that she can let herself go around him for good...cuz she has no death wish and he is a vamp after all (soul or no soul)and because well....i feel she truly loves him (even if it wasnt so convincing in CHOSEN ( god i hated that episode!)
well ya...i may hav confused you a little and to that i say
